Innisfree does not impose animal testing
From what we know, Innisfree does not impose animal testing. Several alternative methods have been used instead of animal testing, such as artificial human skin, the HET-CAM, or using eyes of slaughtered ox. Innisfree comes under Amorepacific, and Amorepacific has “voluntarily discontinued animal testing on cosmetic ingredients and finished goods since 2008“.
Innisfree is a separate entity from Innisfree China
Due to legal obligation, some products produced by innisfree China corporation in the past may need some animal testing. However, innisfree (Korea) does not do animal testing. Moreover, in March 2019, China has announced that post-market cosmetic testing in the country will no longer include animal tests.
chocorea only carries innisfree products that are manufactured in Korea.
